Bulldog Basics is moving to Milledge Hall and the Division of Academic Enhancement from its home of the last seven years, Dawson Hall with the College of Family and Consumer Sciences.

Launched in March 2016, Bulldog Basics provides free toiletry and personal care items to UGA students on the Athens campus through an eStore. There are currently five pick-up location options.

“The program's commitment to providing necessary hygiene materials to students has been a great help to me, and I am grateful for their efforts. I hope that they will continue to expand their offerings and reach even more students in need,” said a graduate student in the College of Pharmacy.

“We know the need is great, so we will continue to evolve to better meet this need in the years ahead,” said Cara Simmons, staff director of the program and director of the Division of Academic Enhancement.

Bulldog Basics has several volunteer and intern opportunities for students. The Bulldog Basics Internship Program has been approved as a non-course credit experiential learning activity. Faculty and staff engagement are also welcome.
