Peer Education Student-Led Conference

The Peer Learning and Teaching Others (PLaTO) program within the Division of Academic Enhancement hosts a Peer Education Student-Led Conference each academic year in the Spring. The purpose of the Peer Education Student-Led Conference is for undergraduate Peer Educators at University of Georgia to showcase their experience and knowledge, streamline training across programs, and create a community of Peer Educators on campus. The Spring 2024 Peer Education Student-Led Conference will be held in March, in the Miller Learning Center. Attendance is free and expected dress is business casual.

Registration

Registation will open for the Spring 2024 Peer Education Student-Led Conference in January 2024.

Sessions are expected to last 20-30 minutes, with both a lecture presentation and interactive component. Interested presenters should submit a proposal on topics they think are relevant to other Peer Educators.

Topic proposal submissions will be reviewed and students with approved proposals will be contacted with further instructions on developing their presentation session.
