Service Learning

Each Thrive | Georgia participant will enroll in UNIV 1201S: Learning for Success at the University, a service-learning course. Service-learning at the University of Georgia is the application of academic skills and knowledge to address a community need, issue, or problem and to enhance student learning. UNIV 1201S provides opportunities for students to acquire skills needed to seek and obtain a relevant career, engage in critical and creative thinking to make sound decisions and solve complex problems, and become effective learners throughout their lives.
