The Division of Academic Enhancement strongly recommends students to take placement tests to determine the course that is the best fit.
The First-year Composition Program and the Division of Academic Enhancement strongly recommend students who have an SATV score of 580 or less or an ACTE score of 25 or less to take the English Placement Test (EPT) to determine the appropriate course level for the student.
The Department of Mathematics strongly recommends that ALL first-year and transfer students take the Math Placement Test (DMAT) to determine the appropriate course level for the student.
The Division of Academic Enhancement strongly recommends students with with a high school GPA of less than 2.5 or an SATV less than 500 to take the Reading Placement Test to determine to appropriate course level for the student.
